#8859 closed defect (fixed)

AppleScript chat class no longer has a date opened property

Description

Prior to Adium version 1.2 the chat class in AppleScript support had a "date opened" property. In 1.2 this no longer exists. I used to use this to figure out what was the most recent chat that was opened. This can no longer be done. If you ask for every chat, their order in the list appears to be less than predictable. The index property is specific to the window the chat is in, so it can't be used to determine in which order the chats were opened. So I think the best thing would be to reinstate the "date opened" property or an equivalent.

Sorry to be a stickler, but I think you have a typo in the description:

<property name="date opened" code="CDop" type="date" access="r" description="The date ad time at which this chat was opened">

Should probably be:

<property name="date opened" code="CDop" type="date" access="r" description="The date and time at which this chat was opened">
