Description (last modified by Robby)
Since updating to Mountain Lion some graphics are not displayed or read out correctly when using Adium as a blind user with VoiceOver.
For example in a chat window there is a button that shows the contacts where currently a communication is active. Before the update to Mountain Lion the name of the contact was spoken by Voice Over, after the update to Mountain Lion only "Button" is spoken.
In general, I saw that many graphics or buttons need to be fixed to let Voice Over pronounce them correctly. Maybe only these graphics have to be labled in a proper way, because in general Adium is very good to use with Voice Over and many blind people are using the app. I'd like to help to identify the problems that users of VoiceOver do have with Adium still and improve the usage of the application for blind or visually handicapped persons.
If you like to test Adium with VoiceOver just press the CMD+F5 shortcut on any newer Mac OS X and the speech syntheses will be started.
Please let me know how I can help to improve accessibility even more, that would be great!
