Getting on IRC

If you are using the Adium 1.4  beta, IRC is now one of the services fully supported by Adium and you no longer have to use a separate client to connect to IRC, you can connect directly using Adium.

If you are still using Adium 1.3.x or earlier, we recommend the IRC and SILC client  Colloquy. See  Colloquy support for more information on installing and using Colloquy.
