Adium freezes complete System

Description

Adium freezes my system completely - even SSH and a normal shutdown does not work anymore. The only Information is from the system.log:

As you can see it is much too often and the last message in the log.

I know, but the system is completely frozen, so i can not open anything else anymore.

You didn't specify when it freezes... you could easily start the sample before loading adium if it's doing this on start-up...

Please provide exact steps to reproduce. Also create a fresh OS X user account and see if it continues on there.

Im also a developer and hating bugreports like thisone from me :) But the fact remains, there is no way Ive seen to reproduce that error anyway. Mostly in the evening my computer freezes and if I˚m looking into the system.log after the restart I˚m seeing that stuff from Adium I˚ve mentioned in the log. So I would expect this to be a reaction of login / logoff of someone or something else. In the GAIM forums there are some people mentioning even the same kind of errors, also some people have freezed linux systems - maybe the problem is one layer below in the library. I˚m using sametime and MSN as messenger services (currently active) and have disabled accounts from Yahoo, Jabber and a currently disabled plugin for Skype (this even seems to be buggy as well).

Hm. Try leaving Spin Control running, then check the log files it's written (I think it can save automatically - correct me if I'm wrong) after being forced to restart.
