2 users are mixed

While chatting with a contact, a 2nd contact name became attached to the bottom of the same chat window.

It actually was the original contact.

The logs though show the 2nd contact name as continuing the chat.

both contact are part of same group but use different im services

What happens if you un-combine the contact?
