GTalk does not connect in 1.2b4

My GTalk account fails to connect since upgrading to 1.2b4. I get the message "Error: Invalid authzid" and it repeatedly tries to reconnect.

Running 10.5.1 (Intel 32 bit).

I'm running 1.2b4 and I'm having no problems connecting to GTalk.

Just FYI, standard 1.2b6 seems to be working just fine for me as GTalk is concerned.

The "authzid" stuff is Tiger-centric. If you're on Leopard you'd probably see no problems.

I’m sorry, but connecting to Google Talk still doesn’t work for me with 1.2 while it works fine with 1.1.4. As you can see in the comments her, I’m not the only one who has this problem (or at least it seems to be so):  http://www.adiumx.com/blog/2007/12/adium-12-beta.php

Oh, the behaviour is that Adium asks me for my password over and over. And I’m sure it’s the correct password as it works in 1.1.4 and on google.com. In the accounts pref pane, the connecting thing reaches 75% before asking for the password.

julians: I suggest taking a screenshot of your Options tab for your Gtalk account preferences and creating a new ticket with that attached. Also, grab the 1.2b8 AdiumBeta (if it's no longer on that page, check out ReportingBugs for how to get the URL for it) and attach debug logging for when you try to connect to that new ticket. You may also want to comment here to point people to the new ticket.
