Message view jumps to the bottom when Twitter Timeline updates

Summary

When you're reading through your twitter timeline, new tweets that come in cause the message view to scroll to the end rather than holding your place as you read through.

Steps to reproduce

1. Load a lengthy batch of tweets (ex when you connect in the morning)
2. Start to scroll through, starting at the top
3. Allow twitter to automatically update while you're not already scrolled to the bottom

Expected results

The user's current position within the message view should be maintained.

Actual results

The window automatically scrolls to the bottom to show the newest tweets.

Regression

Occurs in 1.5 nightlies going back a few months.

I don't see this when I'm reading the nightly scrolback for #adium.

This feature is overridden by many styles (though none of the bundled ones), which are you using? Also, Adium will still scroll down if you're not scrolled up more than 20%. Are still close to the bottom when it scrolls on new content?

I'm using Stockholm, as is one of the other reporters I talked to. Yes, I'm well above 20% when it happens.

I can't really reproduce this with twitter or IRC. The only potentially relevant checkin I can find is  this, but since I can't reproduce this someone else will have to test it.
