Description
Adium uses 8-) to represent a smiley with sunglasses when chatting. A MSN Client on Windows gets a sad emoticon shown. And the MSN sunglass emoticon from MSN to Adium reads (H). An H in bracelets.

Should investigate w/ MSN for Windows and either fix (trivial) or close as wontfix.

Which emoticon set are you using? The one built into Adium or another that you have downloaded?
comment:4 Changed 6 years ago by evands
The MSN emoticons pack has (H) just fine for MSN; the Default emoticon pack uses the more common emoticon 8-).

(In [14814]) We now understand (H) to be a sunglasses dude in the default emoticons pack; this is what the official MSN client sends for a sunglasses dude. Our primary emoticon for it remains 8-) which I believe to be more common.
