Metacontacts log viewer enhancement

It seems that Adium does not respect metacontacts when displaying message history in new chat windows, or while browsing old chat logs. If metacontacts were grouped in the log browser, and message history was taken from the last conversation had (under any account) with a given metacontact, it would make both much more useful.

As an idea, when storing logs, why not create a folder with the metacontact name, within that, have a folder for each of the accounts from the metacontact. (Just an extension of the above request).

I don't know if that would make grouping the logs in the log browser any easier, but it would help with keeping things organized.

That would cause a mess when meta-contacts were changed.

Since it this would go hand in hand with the new log format I'm moving the milestone to match.

I don't think that logging would require grouping as such, but the log viewer should be cable of grouping a metacontacts logs as if they were one contact. Maintain the separate logs per contact as if they weren't in a meta and have the log viewer simply identify them as such much the way that contacts are already handled for the buddy list.
