I've got an Intel Macbook 2GHZ Core 2 Duo, 1GB RAM, OS X 10.4.11 and Adium version 1.3.2b2.

When someone sends me a message through ICQ while I am offline I almost never receive it. Today, for example, I tried to perform this thing several times with my friend. I was disconnecting and connecting again and I never received offline messages from him.

This problem, as the one in ticket 11147 seems to have never occurred before 1.3 update.

The same bug is present in 1.4b12

Downgrading to latest final (1.3.7) fixed the issue and pulled all the offline messages from the server.

This is a regression that re–appeared almost definitely in 1.4b10 (English, 10.5.8, MacBook Air RevA).

I'll wait for someone to notice and reopen this issue, otherwise I'll create a new ticket for the current trunk/beta version.

Logs sent to feedback e-mail.

I wasn't able to find anything that might cause this regression. The b9 log (compared to the b12 log) simply contains the few lines about a message so I believe it might be libpurple–related.

This affects both AIM and ICQ. I fear there won't be another 1.3.x release but I'll leave this ticket here just in case.

The bug is fixed in the 1.4 betas and will be fixed in 1.4 final.

For reference,  http://developer.pidgin.im/viewmtn/revision/diff/964025d624cbb6d302e3b5f6af14fa60f14bf80f/with/49ffd1b636d756307e3e96c9ce11c130f9d02831/libpurple/protocols/oscar/oscar.c was the change that fixed this.
