if you drag an online contact onto a contact in the Offline pseudo-group and combine them, the combined contact stays in the Offline pseudo-group even though one of the accounts is online.

[25159] may fix this. beej - if you can compile from source, you will be able to test that out for yourself, otherwise you can await a beta of 1.3.2, though I doubt it's expected for a while yet.
