disconnect bonjour after strangeness ... leads to crash with uncaught exception

Something very strange has been happening with bonjour recently ... I use it to communicate with a user running 10.4.11 and iChat and it's not working quite right. Anyhow, that's a topic for another ticket when I finally nail it down.

This ticket is about a crash in Adium when disconnecting the Bonjour account. It didn't want to disconnect, I tried cancelling it several times, etc. Finally I got this crash. Not sure how to repro so I hope the crash report has enough info.

(I'm never sure whether to try to set the component correctly based on the info I have or to leave it to a developer after triage. The ReportingBugs page is silent on this matter.)

You're right there, we should include that information in the wiki sometime.
Rest assured, we only don't like it when people set the milestone, severity or priority. :)

(In [24663]) Improved error handling if the XML stream's file handler throws an exception when trying to write data. Fixes #10621 (though doesn't fix whatever made the connection fail in the first place)
